A Typical Day Camp Day : )

Time Frame 
 Activity Description
8: 00 - 9:00am
 Early arrivals - free play with supervising staff
 9:00 - 10:00am
 Regular time arrival - free play - circle time - morning snack 
 10:00 - 12:30pm
 Forest STREAM activity # 1 with Lead Teacher
 12:30 - 1:00pm
 Lunch - Juniors & Middlers eat together and Seniors & Voyageurs eat together
 1:00 - 1:30pm
 Chill Time - free play in a relaxed setting (puzzles, books, board games, cards  etc)
 1:30 - 2:00pm 
 Outdoor Free Play - sports, games, shelters and much more
 2:00 - 3:30pm
 Forest STREAM activity # 2 with Lead Teacher
 3: 30 - 4: 00pm
 Tree time - pack for departure, water, story time, circle games and afternoon attendance
 4:00 - 5:00pm
 Late departures - free play outdoors and/or indoors with supervising staff

  • Tuesday = Beach Day @ Bass Lake (6km Bus ride) - canoeing, swimming, beach challenges, games & picnic lunch 
  • Friday Afternoon = Freedom Fridays - free choice, whole camp activities & freezies 
  • Monday morning Forest STREAM - includes team building challenge and camp orientation

What does FREE PLAY look like?

The pride of our summer camp - free play is celebrated as an opportunity for learning, social development and making friends. Some activities are organized & facilitated by our teachers - others are totally camper led.
