Summer Job opportunities are available for candidates aged 16 +
Students in the program will receive valuable work experience, a summer wage and an exciting summer filled with canoeing, swimming, camping, forest exploration and so much more.
Job duties vary pending the individuals experience and personal interests, but focus on:
inquiry based, creative educational programming
arts & crafts
sports and outdoor recreation
first aid and outdoor survival
cooking, gardening and lawn maintenance
students must be able to fulfill a summer contract (9 weeks, June 29 - Aug 28)
Great Moose Adventures summer programming is residential, so participants would need to stay on site from Monday to Friday throughout the summer with weekends & Monday, Aug 3rd off
students must be flexible with job duties - helping out wherever necessary
Participants must hold a valid swim certification. NLS certificate (National Life Saving) is recommended, but we will consider applicants with Bronze Cross
Participants must complete a Wilderness First Aid training course - offered by Great Moose Adventures during staff training week(June 20 & 21)
