Outdoor learning in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts & Math (STREAM)

On Fridays - For children aged  5-12 (with leader in training opportunities for children aged 13+)

Our new Forest STREAM program combines all the best in education from Great Moose Adventures, with a combination of healthy nature immersion and hands on, experiential education covering a range of learning areas. From catapult and aqueduct building to animal and plant studies, there is lots to engage and enthuse -  all the while ensuring that students are reflective of their learning and given opportunities to expand upon their understanding of the real world environment. Sessions are run by experienced Ontario Certified Teachers.  

 Great for homeschoolers or those wanting an exciting alternative to regular schooling for one day per week.

Times: The program runs from 9:30-12:30pm. Parents may drop off children anytime from 9:15am onwards.

Spring 2019 Dates: March 22 & 29, April 12 & 26, May 3, 10, 24, 31 (8 sessions)

Price: $200 + tax

Program Notes

  • Drop ins are available for $35 per session.
  • Please come dressed for the weather - we do a lodge to warm up in cases of extreme weather but will be outside the majority of the time.
  • Please bring your own drinks & snacks.

Great Moose Adventures reserves the right to suspend clients from activities, programs or performances where their behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

Great Moose Adventures cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft or damage of belongings.

Great Moose Adventures reserves the right to use photographs/video material of the clients and material created for promotional purposes such as web site, brochures and displays. All films, projects, music, songs, artwork etc. created at Great Moose Adventures may be used by Great Moose Adventures for promotional or educational purposes.

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions the parent or guardian of a child attending a Great Moose Adventures day program, camp out or trip fully understands that such a program involves outdoor and indoor physical activities during variable weather conditions and that there are health and safety risks associated with these types of activities.

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions the parent or guardian, their heirs and assigns waive, release and absolve and agree to indemnify and save harmless Great Moose Adventures and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability arising from attendance and participation in a Great Moose Adventures day program.

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions the parent or guardian affirms that they fully understand the preceding paragraphs and volunteer their child to participate at their own risk.
