Support GMA

Faculty and staff salaries, along with the considerable facility maintenance and operational costs, account for the majority of the expenses at GMA.  Your donation will contribute to the delivery of innovative programs and the development of facilities and resources.

How can you help?

Special Fundraising Events

GMA Academy families get the opporunity to support fundraising by attending our school special events which take place throughout the school year. From Winter Markets, Summer Festivals and our start of year Dinner Under the Maple, there are many opporuntiies to support GMA. Alumni are always welcome guests at these events too. 

A golf fundraiser, open to all famiies and members of the GMA community, is also being organised for Summer 2025! If you would be interested in sponsoring a hole or playing on the day please let us know. More information for this event is coming soon.


Direct Donations

If you would like to contribute with a direct donation please get in touch or use the donation form at the bottom of this page.  Our fundraising goals which will support campus development and the enhancement of our curriculum and outdoor education programs are listed below - if there is a specific goal which you would like to donate to or sponsor please let us know. We would also like to recognise tribute donations.

Volunteering Your Time & Resources

There is always lots to do at GMA! If you would like to support our centre by volunteering your time, it is always very much appreciated. Trail & forest maintenance, carpentry, program enhanchement, advertising support, and lots more. If you also have resources available such as camp wood, canoe tripping equipment or other gear which could be used by the staff and children who attend GMA, please reach out.

  • Outdoor sports pitch and/or covered gymnasium

  • Expansion of current classrooms and assembly areas

  • Standby Generator

  • Picnic tables ​& outdoor learning areas (tents and permanent shelters)

Outdoor Education & Curriculum Development

  • Expanded volleyball & badminton setup

  • New tripping canoes

  • New set of snowshoes for children aged 10+

  • Snowmobile and class ski track setter

  • 15 seaster passenger van
